English painter was born in 1932 and for most of his life he lived in Hampshire, near to the city of Portsmouth UK.
During the late 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s, Folland was one of the most successful published painters in the world. He was noted particularly for his landscape views of English villages and landmarks. This particular autumnal riverbank scene has been painted in a dark earthy tone colour palette with muted highlights which depicts the season well.
Sat in original frame with retro hessian surround, this print is a rare find
