Paul Holsby was born in 1921 in NorrtƤlje, died in 2007 in HƶganƤs. He was Swedish and a graphic designer. He studied with AndrƩ Lhote in Paris from 1948-1951. Together with artists Harry Roskvist and Gillis Sahlin, he founded the SkƄnsk treklƶver art group in 1946. Holsby also exhibited separately several times in Paris, and in Germany, the USA and Canada. He was represented at the National Museum, Kalmar Art Museum, Norrbotten Museum, Eskilstuna Art Museum, Institut Tessin and Circle Saint ExupƩry in Tours.
Work in original vintage condition. The frame shows minor signs of use.
