A beautiful landscape oil on canvas of woodland trees, this has a calming colour palette and is a charming subject for any room. It is a good size and will look wonderful above a fireplace, being contained in a rather grand deep gilt wood frame. The painting has been signed indistinctly at bottom left.
Dating to the 19th century, this is oil on canvas in a gilt wood frame, and originates from France.
In good age related condition, the frame has some unobtrusive damage in a number of places, with some restoration visible, but none of this is conspicuous.
